The floor is the lowest posted hourly rate
On the September 26, 2026 at 10:15 UTC shift board, 379 markets for RN, LPN, and CNA clear a $10/hr floor. GNA, LNA, and STNA are counted with CNA. LVN is counted with LPN. Together they hold 4,455 open slots across 3,145 distinct shifts. The posted floor is the lowest hourly rate in that city and license. This page groups markets by that floor. It publishes the low, the median, and the high. It does not name a workplace.
18 other markets (CMA, CMT, NA, RMA, S-RN) hold 59 open slots and stay off the tables below. They are not part of the RN, LPN, and CNA total.
122 markets post a floor of $20 to under $25. That is the most common band, and it is also the band with the most open slots: 2,361 (53.0%). Every market in that band is CNA, and so is every market in the $15 to under $20 band (12 markets, 141 open slots). No RN market and no LPN market on this snapshot has a floor under $25. 134 markets have a floor under $25 and hold 2,502 open slots (56.2%). No CNA market has a floor of $40 or more. 65 of 71 RN markets have a floor of $40 or more.
The median floor is $48.30 for RN, $37.50 for LPN, and $23.40 for CNA. The median is the middle posted floor for that license. When the count is even, it is the average of the two middle posted floors. The posted-high guide reads the median against the high rate. The one-posted-rate guide asks whether the low and the high are the same number. Pay by city is on the RN, LPN, and CNA pages.
Posted floor, by band
Each market falls in one band. The share is that band's open slots divided by the 4,455 RN, LPN, and CNA slots on this page. On this snapshot the most common band and the band with the most open slots are the same.

The eight lowest floors
These are the eight markets with the lowest posted floor. All eight are CNA markets, and each floor is under $20. A low floor is the bottom of the posted range, not a claim that every shift pays that rate. Read the median and the high on the same row.

The same split, by license
GNA, LNA, and STNA are in the CNA row. LVN is in the LPN row. A floor under $25 is the posted low, not the median. CNA holds every one of the 2,502 open slots in markets whose floor is under $25.
| License | Markets | Open slots | Median floor | Markets under $25 | Slots under $25 | Markets at $40+ | Slots at $40+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| RN | 71 | 489 | $48.30 | 0 | 0 | 65 | 437 |
| LPN / LVN | 132 | 1,172 | $37.50 | 0 | 0 | 33 | 226 |
| CNA / GNA / LNA / STNA | 176 | 2,794 | $23.40 | 134 | 2,502 | 0 | 0 |
How to read the floor
- The floor is the lowest posted hourly rate in that city and license. It is not a promise that a shift pays the floor.
- Read the low, the median, and the high together. When they match, the market has one posted rate. When they do not, the row is a range.
- Most open slots are in the $20 to under $25 band. 2,361 of 4,455 open slots (53.0%) sit there, across 122 CNA markets.
- Same city, different license. CNA, LPN, and RN floors in one city are separate markets.
Common questions
Does the floor mean every shift pays that rate?
No. The floor is the lowest hourly rate posted for that city and license on this snapshot. The median and the high on the same row are the middle rate and the top rate. A shift in the app shows its own hourly rate before you claim it.
Why does one band hold most of the open slots?
The $20 to under $25 band is both the most common floor and the band with the most open slots: 122 markets and 2,361 open slots (53.0%). Every market in that band is CNA. RN and LPN floors on this snapshot start at $25. 65 of 71 RN markets have a floor of $40 or more, and the RN median floor is $48.30.
How do I see the rate on a shift?
Download the AllShifts app (iPhone / Android), add your license and credentials, and the app shows the shifts your file qualifies for, with the hourly rate on the shift before you claim it. Pay is W-2. The W-2 vs 1099 guide covers why that status matters.
Pay figures on this page come from shifts currently posted in the AllShifts app and change daily. AllShifts is an equal opportunity employer.
