One Workplace or Several, September 2026

Open slots counted next to how many workplaces are posting, so a long slot list is not read as a long list of employers.

A long list of open slots is not a long list of workplaces

On the September 24, 2026 at 10:15 UTC shift board, 346 markets for RN, LPN, and CNA clear a $10/hr floor. GNA, LNA, and STNA are counted with CNA. LVN is counted with LPN. Together they hold 3,843 open slots across 2,666 shifts. The facility count on a market is how many workplaces are posting that city and license. This page publishes the count only. It does not name a facility.

306 markets have a facility count of 1. Those markets hold 2,780 open slots (72.3%). 40 markets have a facility count of 2 or more and hold 1,063 open slots (27.7%). The busiest one-facility market is Eatontown, NJ CNA: $20.70–$33.12/hr, median $20.70/hr, 198 open slots on 55 shifts. The busiest market with more than one facility is Hollidaysburg, PA CNA: facility count 2, $23.46–$24.84/hr, median $23.63/hr, 213 open slots on 123 shifts. The highest facility count on the board is 5, in Baltimore, MD LPN, and that market has 13 open slots on 13 shifts. The highest count and the longest slot list are different rows.

A shift can still be posted with more than one unfilled slot. Open slots and distinct shifts are a separate comparison. The open-slots guide covers that. The hourly median is the middle shift in that city and license, and each shift counts once. Extra slots on the same shift do not move the median. The posted-high guide is the longer version of reading the median before the high rate.

Busiest markets where the facility count is 1

Each row is one city and one license. The facility count is 1 on every row. Low, median, and high are hourly rates on shifts posted in that market.

Busiest markets with two or more facilities

These are the eight multi-facility markets with the most open slots. A facility count of 2 can still sit on a long slot list. Read the count and the slot column together.

The highest facility counts

4 markets have a facility count of 3 or more. They are not the busiest markets on the board. A higher count is not a higher rate, and it is not a longer list of open slots.

The same split, by license

GNA, LNA, and STNA are in the CNA row. LVN is in the LPN row. The share is that license's open slots that sit in a one-facility market, not a share of a blended wage.

How to read the count

Common questions

Does a long list of open slots mean many workplaces?

No. 72.3% of the open slots on this board are in a market whose facility count is 1. Eatontown, NJ CNA is the busiest of those: 198 open slots and a facility count of 1.

Does a higher facility count mean higher pay?

No. The highest facility count on this board is 5, in Baltimore, MD LPN, at $34.50–$35.88/hr. That row's rate and the rate on a one-facility market are separate facts. Read the median on the row, then the rate on the shift.

Why is no facility named?

The count is the useful public fact. This page does not name a workplace. The market page for a city shows the same count, the posted rates, and the open slots.

How do I see the actual shifts?

Download the AllShifts app (iPhone / Android), add your license and credentials, and the app shows the shifts your file qualifies for, with the hourly rate on the shift before you claim it. Pay is W-2. The W-2 vs 1099 guide covers why that status matters.
